I is for insect

This week we've been talking about the letter i. The letter i is a vowel it has two sounds a long and short sound. We learned about the itchy insect at phonics time. What kind of bugs are insects? Check out this clip to learn some more about insects.


 

Sharing our Special Treasures

On Fridays we enjoy sharing our special treasures with our friends. We use this time to practise our clear speaking voices and super listening skills. There is always a lot of interesting things to look at.

Let's Celebrate

On Friday we celebrated our learning at Junior Assembly. These Room F learners were awarded certificates for amazing attitudes and great progress. Congratulations.

The letters n and m.

Last week we learnt about the letters n and m. We had lots of fun making necklaces and nests.

 

We know lots of things beginning with the letter m. Like Mum, medicine, mirror, meteor, monkey, monster and make up. We made these neat shape monsters.

Cool Kids Care

Today we were lucky to go and see the Cool Kids Care show. The magic tricks were sensational. Elgregoe made rabbits, birds and even a macaw appear from nowhere. We wish we knew how he did it! He reminded us to be HERO's at school and make good choices like using helpful hands, showing respect and encouraging our friends.

The letter P

This week we have been learning the letter p. We know lots of things that begin with p. Check out these cool penguins.

We liked these penguins so much that we decided to make our own. We looked at our friends in Room D's blog and made ones just like theirs. We think they look great.

Dough Creations

Last week on the reading task board we made these fantastic faces. We were working on putting details on the faces like eye lashes and eye brows.
