We like spending time at the writing table to practice our writing. We are learning to make letters the correct size and form them correctly. Look at the shopping list we wrote to practice our writing.
We are a NE/ Year 1 class from Manchester Street School in Feilding, NZ. We are looking forward to sharing our learning with you.

The Letter M
This week we have been learning about the letter m.
We thought of lots of things that begin with the letter m like... Mum, milk, money, make up,
Miira- Rose, mountains, monsters and monkey's. We watched a clip of a very cute monkey learning how to play and climb. Then we made our own cheeky monkey's. Check out the clip.
We also read a book called The Monsters Party .We had fun on Friday making our own crazy monsters.

Special Visitors
On Friday we had some special visitors. Jessica's pet rabbit and guinea pig came to school. There names were called Chocolate Brownie and Fudge. They were very small and very cute. We got to pat them gently and they were very soft and fluffy.
"I like the guinea pig best because it was small and soft, " said Alex.
"I like the bunny rabbit the best because it was very soft," said Rebecca.
"I like when Chocolate Brownie went to explore our classroom," said Kompton.
