Rapunzel

Today we enjoyed a performance of Rapunzel. It was a bit different than the traditional story and it had some very funny characters. Our favourite characters were Simon Cowel, Rapunzel and the a Rapping Prince. Make sure to ask your child about their favourite part of the show.

Maths

We have been doing some great learning in maths.
We have been practicing fast facts to 10. Look at all these number sentence puzzles Abby did.

We have also been practicing our careful counting. Look at the great matching Prada -Lee did.

Endangered Animals

We have been talking about some very special animals that are endangered. Endangered means that there are not many left so they need special help and to be protected. Check out this clip about the top 10 endangered animal species.

Wobbly Jelly

This week we have been learning about the letter j. We learned a poem about jelly.

  

J is for jelly.

Wobble, wobble, wobble.

J is for jelly.

Gobble, gobble,gobble.

On Thursday we made some jelly. It smelled yummy as we stirred it to dissolve the sugar. On Fun Friday we got to eat the wibbly, wobbly jelly. We got to pick from red, green or orange. It was so yummy we enjoyed gobbling it all up!

Happy Birthday to You

On Fun Friday it was Q Bears Birthday. He was six years old. We invited all our teddies. It was fun making party hats for them. We had birthday cake and we made iced biscuits with lollies on top. At the end of the day Q Bear gave us a balloon to take home, thanks Q Bear.

Great Learners

In assembly we celebrated some awesome learning. These great learners have been trying hard with all their school work and writing some super stories by themselves. Tino Pai, we are proud of you.
